W dniu 2 czerwca 2026 r. miało miejsce oficjalne otwarcie oraz inauguracja działalności
Centrum Kultury Ludów Turkijskich na Wydziale Kultur Azji i Afryki Uniwersytetu
Warszawskiego.
Uroczystego przecięcia wstęgi dokonały dr hab. Agata Bareja-Starzyńska, prof. ucz, dziekan
Wydziału Kultur Azji i Afryki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, prof. Aktoty Raimkulova,
prezes Fundacji Kultury i Dziedzictwa Turkijskiego oraz Nargiz Gurbanova, Ambasador
Republiki Azerbejdżanu w Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.
W uroczystości udział wzięli także Sinem Turgut Bingöl, Radca Ambasady Republiki Turcji
w Polsce, Ravshanbek Jabborov, Radca Ambasady Republiki Uzbekistanu w Polsce, Saule
Turginbekova, Radca Ambasady Republiki Kazachstanu w Polsce, Agnieszka Bereza,
Główny Specjalista w Departamencie Współpracy Międzynarodowej Ministerstwa Nauki i
Szkolnictwa Wyższego, oraz dr Jan Rogala, Kierownik Zakładu Turkologii, Mongolistyki i
Tybetologii, WKAiA, Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, pełniący funkcję moderatora
wydarzenia, a także pracownicy, studenci i studentki Turkologii WKAiA, przedstawiciele
innych ośrodków studiów turkologicznych w Polsce oraz przyjaciele narodów turkijskich.
Zaproszeni goście honorowi wygłosili przemówienia poświęcone znaczeniu Centrum Kultury
Ludów Turkijskich oraz jego roli w promowaniu dialogu międzykulturowego, współpracy
naukowej i upowszechnianiu wiedzy o kulturach ludów turkijskich. Dziekan WKAiA
podziękowała za hojne dary, w tym instrumenty muzyczne i artefakty przekazane przez
placówki dyplomatyczne krajów turkijskich dla umożliwienia działalności Centrum.
Inauguracja Centrum stanowi ważny krok w umacnianiu współpracy pomiędzy
Uniwersytetem Warszawskim a instytucjami naukowymi i kulturalnymi państw obszaru
turkijskiego, otwierając nowe możliwości dla studentów, badaczy i wszystkich osób
zainteresowanych kulturą tego regionu.
The official opening and inauguration of the Centre for the Culture of Turkic Peoples took
place at the Faculty of Asian and African Cultures of the University of Warsaw on 2 June
2026. The official ribboncutting ceremony was performed by Prof. Agata BarejaStarzyńska, Dean of
the Faculty of Asian and African Cultures of the University of Warsaw; prof. Aktoty
Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, and H.E. Nargiz
Gurbanova, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Poland.
The ceremony was attended also by Sinem Turgut Bingöl, Counsellor of the Embassy of the
Republic of Türkiye in Poland; Ravshanbek Jabborov, Counsellor of the Embassy of the
Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland; Saule Turginbekova, Counsellor of the Embassy of the
Republic of Kazakhstan in Poland; Agnieszka Bereza, Senior Specialist at the Department of
International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education; and Dr Jan
Rogala, Head of the Department of Turkic, Mongolian and Tibetan Studies, Faculty of Asian
and African Cultures off the University of Warsaw, who served as moderator of the event. The
ceremony also gathered staff members, students of Turkology at the Faculty, representatives
of other Turkological centers in Poland, and friends of the Turkic peoples.
The invited guests of honor delivered speeches highlighting the significance of the Centre for
the Culture of Turkic Peoples and its role in promoting intercultural dialogue, academic
cooperation, and the dissemination of knowledge about the cultures of Turkicspeaking
societies. The Dean thanked thanked for the generous gifts, including musical instruments and
artifacts, donated by diplomatic missions of Turkic countries to enable the Center's activities.
The inauguration of the Centre marks an important step in strengthening cooperation between
the University of Warsaw and academic and cultural institutions of the Turkic world, opening
new opportunities for students, researchers, and all those interested in the cultures of the
region.
